Low Blood Pressure Temporary Hearing Loss

San Salvi Why not?

While in Florence, for all the former mental hospital in San Salvi seems there are alternatives between the decay and neglect on one side and the sell-off and privatization other hand, elsewhere in Italy are developed and projects are undertaken very different.

For example, on the island of San Servolo in the lagoon of Venice , home until 1978 of the asylum: in fact, its closure was decided not only to pass the historical memory of the place, but also to recover and preserve the architectural complex of the island preserving neglect but also by speculation , mantendendone public ownership and returning it to the local community.

Once the restoration, today the island houses a museum and is home to study, research and cultural initiatives, its large park is open to the public and has become a flagship for the province of Venice as point of interchange and dialogue between cultures.
A complex of extraordinary value in all its richness and power was returned to the city as part of the city itself with its historical, architectural, environmental, cultural and social. Why San Salvi is not it?
