Synopsis and Review
During the festivities of their marriage, Kristie and Marc St. Clair is in a secluded enough area left, now shrouded by the shadows of the night. And 'here who conceive their child, Dylan. An important event, yet, Kristie has only a confused memory of things that happened in those hours.
Time passes and little Dylan is growing healthy and much loved by his family and the locals.
However, the joy of every birthday brings to mind a sad event.

The course of events will become increasingly agitated and dramatic, there will be moments filled with suspense and surprises in the end.
- The plot deals with the theme of an already over used by the Antichrist can be born. Ce lo hanno già raccontato film come Rosemary's Baby, Omen Il Presagio , e altri ancora. Gira e rigira, sono tutti abbastanza simili e sperare in una pellicola che riesca in qualche modo a distinguersi per innovazione è cosa ardua.
Proprio per questo, la prima parte di The Calling sembra di una banalità disarmante, per fortuna con il procedere dei minuti riesce a riprendersi un po’, diventando sempre più avvincente.
Grazie anche a una buona recitazione degli attori, alle giuste atmosfere cupe e misteriose, sapientemente create dalle scenografie e dalle riprese in chiaro - scuro.
Le musiche della colonna sonora riescono a dare quel qualcosa in più all'insieme.
Visione consigliata agli amanti like that, but not expecting a masterpiece.
